Abstract Here, the existence and multiplicity of weak solutions to a generalized $(p(\cdot ),q(\cdot ))$ ( p ⋅ ) , q -Laplace equation involving Leray–Lions type operators with Hardy potential are studied under Dirichlet boundary conditions on Heisenberg groups.
